- How long will my physical take?
Physicals are usually scheduled in two parts. The first appointment will take about 20 minutes. Your fasting blood work, EKG, eye test and hearing test will be done. Two weeks later, your physical will be scheduled and it will take about 1 1/2 hours. Dr. Rosenberg will review your lab tests with you at that time.

Follow-up appointments are usually scheduled in our office at the time of the initial appointment.

- Can I get reimbursed for the fee through my insurance company?
In most cases, no. Most insurance plans do not cover the comprehensive physical and wellness program included in the program. And, under no circumstances will the fee be submitted to Medicare, as the enhanced services are a non-covered item. An itemized bill will be available upon request for you to submit to your insurance company.
- Can I submit this fee to a flexible spending account or cafeteria plan?
In most cases, yes. These pre-tax funding plans were established to cover non-reimbursed medical expenses which would encompass the enhanced wellness program and preventive care you will receive. Please see your plan administrator for a final determination.
- Is the fee tax deductible?
The entire fee, or a portion thereof, is eligible to be included as non-reimbursed medical expenses. This amount is tax deductible subject to Health Savings Plan guidelines or a threshold which varies according to your total income. Only your accountant can make the final determination.
- Do I have to pay the annual fee all at once?
The annual fee can be paid in annual, semi-annual or quarterly installments. Installments must be made using a credit card supplied at the beginning of the annual term.
- What does the program cost?
$2,500.00 annually. All members join as individuals.
- Is my insurance compatible with this program?
Medicare, PPO, and POS insurance plans are completely compatible with the program for all claims arising out of the normal course of the doctor’s practice with the exception of the enhanced services. We do not accept HMO’s.
